APPLYING STORY PYRAMID STRATEGY IN COMPREHENDING RECOUNT TEXT

Abstract


Membaca  teks adalah salah satu ketrampilan  yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Guru telah menggunakan  banyak perbedaan strategi dalam mengajar yang bertujuan untuk mencapai kemampuan dalam memahami bacaan.  Tulisan ini menyajikan story pyramid strategy dalam memahami recount text. Siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi ini memiliki motivasi lebih tinggi dalam memahami bacaan. Strategi ini membantu murid – murid menunjukkan sesuatu dengan tepat sebuah teks recount. Strategi ini membantu siswa. Story pyramid membantu siswa dengan rangka berpikir untuk mengidentifikasikan generic stucture dalam recount text, kemudian strategy ini menolong siswa untuk meningkat kemampuan membaca.
