Abstract

One of the works that were outlined by Sheikh Muhammad ' Abduh 's tafsir al - wa al - ijtima'iy adabiy the discussion more emphasis on aspects of literature, culture, and social aspects. Tafsir al -Adab wa al - ijtima'i is one of the works are pretty much used as a reference in an effort to encourage the development and progress of the Muslim community in the midst of upheaval Muslims face pressure other nations. Therefore, this interpretation try to accentuate the aspect ratio and remind Muslims to use the mind properly, observe the laws in force in the universe. Muslims must go back to the main foundation that has always been the main reference that is the Quran as guidance, instructions; way of life that will make Muslims maintained the faith and way of life.
