Author Guidelines

Logaritma : Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Pendidikan dan Sains Paper Submission

Standards and Guidelines

1. Manuscripts are scientific and original in nature, have never been published or are being submitted for publication in other journals.

2. Manuscripts in the form of conceptual articles or results of research in the fields of education and science. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian, English or Arabic using the 12 pt Time New Roman font using the MS Word Program. The number of pages is 12-15 pages (including abstracts and references) with a system of writing foot notes on A4 paper with one space with the left, right, top, and bottom margins of 3 cm. Abstracts for articles in Indonesian are written in English; abstracts for English or Arabic articles written in Indonesian.

3. For Latin-Arabic transliteration using the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 0543 b / u / 1987.

4. The systematics of conceptual article writing includes:

    a. Title

    b. Author's name, email and affiliation

    c. Abstract is written one paragraph between 60 to 100 words

    d. Key word between 2 to 5 descriptors

    e. Introduction

    f. Discussion include major theme, logical development of the theme, author's point of view

    g. Conclusion

    h. References

5. Systematics of article writing results of research include:

    a. Title

    b. Author's name, email and affiliation

    c. Abstract is written one paragraph between 60 to 100 words

    d. Key word between 2 to 5 descriptors

    e. Introduction

    f. Method which contains the model design. Samples and data, place and time, data collection

       techniques, data analysis techniques

    g. Result (findings) and Discussion

    h. Conclusion and Recommendation

     i. References

6. The editorial team has the right to change the manuscript as long as it does not change the substance of the writing.

7. Manuscripts which for some reason are considered not suitable to be published will be returned to the author.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
