PENGUATAN GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KONSEP DIRI

This research was conducted based on data analysis, this type of research is classified as quantitative research using the ex post facto method. The population of this study were students who entered 2017/2018, as many as 120 students, so the sample in this study was 25% of the total population, namely students who were representatives of each class. Sampling was done by using proportional random sampling technique as much as 25% which was done randomly in each class, so that the number of samples in this study was 30 people. While the data collection instrument in this study was a questionnaire, with product moment analysis techniques and simple linear regression. From the questionnaire data analysis, it was obtained that rxy 0.51 was categorized as quite strong, with Fcount of 9.79 compared to Ftable of 4.20. Because F count> F table, namely 9.79> 4.20, so there is a significant influence between the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education teachers on the self-concept of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Pijorkoling, Padangsidimpuan City. The contribution of X to Y is 26% and the value of the Y variable can be predicted with the X variable based on the linear regression equation Ŷ 23.59 0.54x.
