DARUL 'ILMI is an educational and Islamic science journal. This journal is published in two editions each year, namely the January-June edition and the July-December edition. The editorial team accepts scientific papers, both the results of conceptual thoughts and the results of research related to educational and Islamic studies that have never been published before. The editing team has the right to revise the writing that enters the editorial desk for format uniformity without changing the content and intent of the writing. GUIDELINES FOR WRITING AND DELIVERY OF MANUALS

1. Article manuscripts are the author's original scientific work, not plagiarism or autoplagiarism.
2. Article manuscripts are the result of research or scientific studies in the field of education and Islamic sciences.
3. Article manuscripts can be in Indonesian, English or Arabic.
4. Article manuscripts must use the Indonesian General Spelling Guidelines (PUEBI) and consistently follow the rules for writing scientific papers established by using body notes and bibliography (See Appendix.1).

The systematics of the article manuscript is as follows:

1. Title; Must be loaded straightforwardly.
2. Author's Name (without academic degree);
3. Author Identity (institution/affiliation/place of assignment and email);
4. Abstract (Indonesian and English/Arabic) maximum 200 words; Objectives, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusions.
5. Key Words (3 – 5 words/phrases);
6. Introduction; This is where it is necessary to load articles that can be used as a theoretical basis.
7. The Sub-Journals consist of: Introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions;
8. Conclusion;
9. Bibliography.

• Article manuscripts are typed in the Arial Unicode MS 12 font, 1 spaced with a length of 12-16 pages.
• Manuscripts of articles sent online are accompanied by softcopy and biographical abbreviations of the author (minimum contains full name, position, address, place of assignment, area of expertise, contact number, email, and education (S1, S2, S3).
• Reviewing the contents of the manuscript in terms of content is carried out by reviewers or bestari partners, and in the technical aspect of writing is carried out by the editor.
• Authors of manuscript articles are given the opportunity to improve (revise) the manuscript on the basis of the recommendation of the editor/editor/reviewer/bestari partners.

12. Unpublished manuscripts/articles will not be returned, except at the request of the author concerned.

13. Citation with Mendeley uses the style: zotero/ Mendeley uses the Chicago Manual 17th (Full Note) style. These two systems are a reference in quoting and still have to refer to the scope of the writing set by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Example:

PEDOMAN PENULISAN DAN PENGIRIMAN MANUAL

DARUL ‘ILMI merupakan jurnal ilmu kependidikan dan keislaman. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua edisi setiap tahun yaitu edisi Januari-Juni dan edisi Juli-Desember. Tim redaksi menerima tulisan ilmiah baik merupakan hasil pemikiran konseptual maupun hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan kajian ilmu kependidikan dan keislaman yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya. Tim penyunting berhak untuk melakukan revisi terhadap tulisan yang masuk ke meja redaksi untuk keseragaman format tanpa mengubah isi dan maksud tulisan. Alamat redaksi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Padangsidimpuan Jl. H.T. Rizal Nurdin Km. 4,5 Sihitang Padangsidimpuan Telp. (0634)22080.

PEDOMAN PENULISAN DAN PENGIRIMAN NASKAH

1. Naskah artikel merupakan karya ilmiah orisinil penulis, bukan plagiat atau autoplagiat.
2. Naskah artikel merupakan hasil penelitian atau kajian ilmiah dalam bidang ilmu kependidikan dan keislaman.
3. Naskah artikel dapat berbahasa Indonesia, Inggris, atau Arab.
4. Naskah artikel harus menggunakan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) dan konsisten mengikuti aturan penulisan karya ilmiah yang ditetapkan dengan menggunakan catatan badan (bodynote) dan daftar pustaka (Lihat pada Lampiran.1)

 Sistematika naskah artikel sebagai berikut:

1. Judul; Harus dimuat secara lugas.
2. Nama Penulis (tanpa gelar akademik);
3. Identitas Penulis (institusi/afiliasi/tempat tugas dan e-mail);
4. Abstrak (Indonesia dan Inggris/Arab) maksimal 200 kata; Tujuan, Metode, Hasil dan Pembahasan, dan Kesimpulan.
5. Kata-kata Kunci (3 – 5 kata/prasa);
6. Pendahuluan; Disinilah perlu memuat artikel yang dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan teori. 
7. Sub-sub Jurnal terdiri dari: Pendahuluan, metode, hasil dan pembahasan, kesimpulan;
8. Kesimpulan;
9. Daftar Pustaka.
   1. Naskah artikel diketik dengan font Arial Unicode MS 12, 1  spasi dengan panjang 12 – 16 halaman.
   2. Naskah artikel yang dikirim secara online disertai softcopy dan biodata singkat penulis (minimal memuat nama lengkap, jabatan, alamat, tempat tugas, bidang keahlian, nomor kontak, e-mail, dan pendidikan (S1, S2, S3).
   3. Review  isi naskah tulisan dalam aspek isi dilakukan reviewer atau mitra bestari, dan dalam aspek teknik penulisan dilakukan oleh editor.
   4. Penulis naskah artikel diberi kesempatan untuk memperbaiki (revisi) naskah atas dasar rekomendasi editor/penyunting/reviewer/mitra bestari.

12. Naskah/artikel yang tidak dimuat tidak akan dikembalikan, kecuali atas permintaan penulis yang bersangkutan.

13. Pengutipan dengan mendeley menggunakan style: zotero/ mendeley menggunakan style Chicago Manual 17^th (Full Note). Kedua sistem ini menjadi acuan dalam mengutip dan tetap harus mengacu pada selingkung Tulisan yang di tetapkan oleh Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN  Padangsidimpuan. Contoh:

message Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
